| Description: Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce a new software update, I515.FK02, for your Galaxy Nexus by Samsung. This update includes an upgrade to the Android Operating System 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The Galaxy Nexus by Samsung will be updated to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The software will be pushed to Verizon Wireless customers in phases starting March 19. The software includes new camera features such as photosphere to take 360 degree panoramic pictures that can easily be shared with friends. The camera app also has new tools to add filters and borders, further customizing pictures. Additionally, an all new Gesture Keyboard is available, allowing users to slide their finger from letter to letter to type a word. Other enhancements include allowing users to place widgets on the lock screen for easier access to popular apps such as Calendar, Gmail and Clock. - Enhanced Accessibility: Enable screen magnification to easily zoom or pan the entire screen. User can enter full-screen magnification with a triple-tap on the screen - Widgets automatically resize on user’s Home Screen - Google Now shortcut has been changed and relocated to bottom of lock screen - Daydream: Display useful information when idle or locked. Show off your photo albums and get the latest news from Google Currents - A smarter keyboard: Gesture Typing allows you to glide your finger over the letters you want to type, and lift after each word. The keyboard can anticipate and predict the next word, so you can finish entire sentences just by selecting suggested words |
